What is the difference between the dtf white ink transfer process and the heat transfer process?
1.The difference in fabric
DTF White ink transfer can be hot in knitted, textile, nylon, non-woven, Oxford cloth and all the fabrics can be stamped. The heat transfer sublimation paper can only be stamped on light coloured or white polyester fabrics, the higher the polyester content the more vivid the colours. If the heat transfer process is used on dark fabrics is very undesirable, the effect will not be too good, while the dtf white ink transfer is not picky fabrics, in any fabric can do very perfect.
2.The temperature and time of transfer are not the same
Generally speaking, dtf white ink transfer temperature is about 160 degrees, time about 13 seconds (different manufacturers with different dtf hot melt adhesive, may be transfer temperature and time difference, but most of the value is such a range), and sublimation paper temperature to 200-230 degrees between, time is about 15-20 seconds between. The heat transfer process is a little shorter compared to heat transfer.
3. The feel after transfer is not the same
The back of the dtf white ink transfer is a layer of white ink priming, so the transfer on the fabric feel is a little feel, like the feel of the dark screen printing, touch is not hard, but there is a sense of rubber. Heat transfer sublimation paper is ink penetration into the fabric, so called sublimation, although the touch is also a little feel, but the overall heat transfer is softer, the feel will be a little better than the dtf white ink transfer.
